Garba is a traditional Gujarati dance that hails from the Indian state of Gujarat. Its name comes from the Sanskrit word "Garbha." Traditionally, Garba is performed around a lit lamp or an image of the Hindu goddess Durga.
Garba is more than just a dance. It's a way of bringing the community together and promoting fun, learning, and fitness. NGS is passionate about sharing the joy of Garba with people of all genders, ages* and skill levels. Come join a supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable and free to embrace this beautiful tradition.
A few things you should know before you attend the fun to avoid disappointment...
*Please wear comfortable and suitable clothing. Optional - Colourful chaniyas to your chaniya cholis, kurtis, and kurtas for men.
*Bring a bottle of water.
*The event management reserves the right of admission and does not accept responsibility for personal liability.
*Children aged 3 and under Free entry. (parent responsible for own children)
*Fee applies for age 4 - 10yrs. (parent responsible for own children)
*Please note that cars are parked at the owner's own risk.
*Please note that tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
*All participants MUST checkin at the desk upon arrival with tickets present. One ticket per person.
*Please get to the venue 15 minutes before to register, don't want you to miss out on Garba time.
